  Hi Linda – I am very impressed – looks great. I would love to have one set up as I’d rather try and get a portfolio going from now rather than trying to reinvent the wheel in 3 years time.   Hey Fi,
  You’re my first blog customer!! Thanks for your comment and here’s the first step to setting up your blog. Go to http://edublogs.org/ and fill in your details near the bottom of the page on the left. You’ll see on the right some tutorials which are really useful. I’ve had to listen to them a few times – it’s easier once you’ve had a play around in your blog and then go back to the tutes again to learn more.

  You’ll then get an email giving you an access code to start blogging.

  Let me know how you get on and we’ll keep our blogs in contact with one another … maybe others can follow y/our progress .. i’d love to see how you set it up for use with kids and/or a portfolio for teaching. I agree – start now and you’ll be able to build on it over the next couple of years.

  Yeh – Fi’s Teaching Journey blog is now underway. I’ve just downloaded the intro notes but just now need to not get too distracted from what I am meant to be sitting here doing – my maths assignment! Will let you know when I’ve put some info on my blog. Hopefully after next week when we have started prac. Thanks for your help.

  Hey Linda, nice job. I am with the others and going to start playing with concept now or those little blighters will get to far ahead. Also have had trouble emailing larger files for some reason ie powerpoints so maybe things like that can be uploaded to my blog site so other can retrive them. Anyway i will do tutorial and see. No time this week too many assignments due but look forward to exploring in the coming weeks. Also wanted to let you know that i will have leave class a little early tommorrow if alright about 1.30.

  Gooday Phil,

  Thanks for your message re class and yes, I think the same re not letting the kids get toooo far ahead of us – it’s also great to keep on being a learner. I think a blog will allow you to do as you plan (re larger files) and what I like is that you can keep everything in one central place and people come to you (rather than having to send messages off to individuals). I also find I use it as a repository for my own favourite files so that I can find them easily. Have fun and have a play one morning when you are awake early (or late one night – I’ve found the time by replacing eating and sleep with blogging eg should really be making myself something to eat now, but it’s more fun chatting on line …).
